Headshots for the Amazingly Awesome Jen Johnson47---40

It’s time to share some images of the shoot we did for photographer Jen Johnson!

We first met the fab Jen Johnson on Twitter forever ago it seems like.  Then, we actually met her in person when we brought our IN-CAMERA Workshops out to CA.  And yes, she was just as cool in person as she seemed to be on Twitter :)  We love Jen’s upbeat personality and how she seems to go at everything with gusto!

Jen asked us to take some headshots of her at WPPI in Las Vegas, so we set it up (we’ll leave out the whole Zach arm dislocating saga) and even with the breezy chill, Jen rocked it out.

LOVIN’ her heels and pink camera strap

Is this hair piece not the cutest??

Insert wind! Aw yeah… just like a fashion photo shoot…

Way to work it, girl :)

This shoot would not have been possible without the help of two fab ladies who we met at WPPI and came out and offered their extra hands!  Thanks Lindsi Rian (Crossed Focused Photography) and Jalene (Jalene Dort Photography).  You two are the best!!!

Jalene Dort BTW... I totally had a blast helping you guys out! Thank you, for everything I learned more from talking with you than the whole WPPI all together! :)
Jalene Dort Yeah!!! You put the pictures up! I guess I was looking in the wrong spot this whole time! lol... I've been wanting to see how they came out, of course I knew they would be gorgeous! But they turned out even better than I expected! It was sooo great getting to know you and Zach both! I can't wait to come to one of your workshops! Will you be headed to Florida any time soon?!? :)

Nashville Headshots – Rockin’ it in non-Beautiful Places58---70

Our IN-CAMERA: Beginners workshop was this past Saturday and it went AWESOME! For those who are our Facebook Friends, you can already see two of the images taken that day, but no worries we will blog very shortly on it!

A few days ago we did some headshots for model Lindsey Kirkendall. She’s always so easy to shoot and we had lots ‘o fun. :)

Windy hair patrol! :)

Something we really enjoy is finding the “beauty in the ugly” and by ugly, we do not mean Lindsey :) Beauty can be found almost anywhere, especially if one is able to control his/her camera and gear in the way he/she wants to.

The shots you see above taken at a nice stone wall like the one below…

… were taken at a wall in an apartment complex!

The great thing about this spot is to the left was a white wall which reflected the setting sunlight. The light that hit Lindsey was soft, PERFECT light to have filling the shadows of the face. Awesome spot to shoot in!

The shots you see taken by the orangish cool background like this shot..

… wer taken by a big ‘ol nasty storage unit.

Beauty in the ugly, my friends!

Thanks for reading! Hope you all had a great Easter!
